Who Is Brad Pitt

He’s the definition of good looks. If a handsome man is mentioned somewhere, of course its name is mentioned first. I knew Brad Pitt with his handsome face that shines only from his films, and of course with his legendary love, his stance in the “Brangelina” pair. I ended up with them after their breakup, for they’re beautiful together.

The beginning of life;

When Brad was born as the first chil of Jane Etta and William Alvin in Oklahoma, on December 18, 1963, his family called him “William Bradley.” His mother worked as a consultant at school, and his father ran a trucking company. They moved to Springfield Missouri right after Brad’s birth. His brothers, Douglas and Julie Neal, were also born here.

Brad grew up in a conservative family environment; He was raised as a Southern Baptist. He was a child who was always interested in school and work. When he started studying at Kickapoo High School, he was particularly interested in sports and the student affairs of his school. He especially participated in swimming, tennis and golf teams. Brad’s friends at school called him “Pittler”. Music became one of his greatest passions after Elton John’s first album, “Captain Fantastic”.

He decided to study Journalism at the University, and in 1982 he enrolled at the University of Missouri in Columbia. During his schooling, he was a member of “The Sigma Chi”, where students from male colleges gather for social activities. It was 1986. Graduation was approaching. He got too close to graduation, but left school two weeks after a sudden decision and went to Los Angeles…

Life begins

Yeah, he really did. Because he had been getting confused lately. The feeling that he didn’t stop where he wanted to be, numbed his body. He did what he had to do. From now on, after all the Brad Pitt movies I’ve watched, I think this is the gift of that decision.

Years later, Brad would recall his decision in an interview: “I made this decision when it came to graduation, everyone, all my friends were looking for a job, and I realized that I wasn’t ready for it yet. Two weeks before graduation, I moved to Los Angeles. I didn’t finish the last two weeks because I just felt like that. I was done with it. I knew where I wanted to go. There was something about me.”

Life starts when you make the best real decision. Brad’s life was just beginning; Los Angeles. He told his family that he would continue his journey at an Academy of Fine Arts in Pasadena to start his acting career. As if he was newborn, as if he had just begun college, all his feelings spread. Most importantly, he was somewhere else and broke. When he first stepped into the city, he only had $325 and had to earn more to live. He curled up on the couch of Rock Artist Melissa Etheridge for a while. He pursued long-term and permanent solutions. He did what he got for a while. He wore a chicken costume in public, and after years, when he became a star, he was a chauffeur in the limousines he was sure to belong to.

For his family and all his relatives, Brad’s career choice was a big surprise. Maybe he had been on stage for a few shows at school; but no one realized that it turned into a passion. In fact, no one needed to worry. Because even Brad didn’t know it. Maybe he started believing it when he was left with $325 in his pocket; Brad wanted to be a movie star.

When he went to Hollywood, he coached London Roy for 6 years. His first screen experience was his small role in the sitcom “Head Of The Class.” He also lost his heart to the star of the show and had a short-term draw. He has been a guest on two episodes of Growing Pains.

He first gained attention in 1989 when he starred in a low-budget production called “Cutting Class”. He appeared in another soap opera “Another World” under the character Chris. Immediately after, he appeared in the series “Our House“. He was offered an offer to play in other episodes, and was transferred to one of America’s most popular shows, “Dallas”, as Shalane McCall’s boyfriend, Charles. He also starred in television series such as “Thirtysomething, “21 Jump Street”, and “Friday Night Nightmares”, which were aired in the times with higher watching rate.

First of all, he was so handsome. This would be both his support and his backbone. In 1991, after a 15-minute role in “Thelma & Louise”, directed by Ridley Scott, Magazine People named him “The Sexiest Man in the World”..

Especially for our country, cinema introduced him to us. Brad first appeared in camera in 1988 for the white screen. “Dark Side Of The Sun” was shot in Yugoslavia. Actually, the film was complete. However, because of the war that began here, it went on to show up years later. For this reason, “Cutting Class”, in 1989, can be considered the first film.

In the meantime, the series and especially “Thelma & Louise” after the “World’s Sexiest Man”, first criteria for the selection of Brad were, not physical characteristics, but his acting abilities. Although we did not experience a situation where we could deny his good looks, his talent for acting was also revealed in his films. Brad, who was not erased from the memories especially with the 1999 “Fight Club” production, previously appeared in several films such as “Interview With The Vampire’ in 1994, “12 Monkeys’ in 1995 and “Seven” in 1995.

Again in 1999, in “Matrix” Brad was considered first in the lead role.

China banned him

Brad was banned from entering China after 1997’s “Seven Years in Tibet”. The film is about Harren, who travelled from his country to the Himalayas during World War II, and then later fled to Tibet. There he witnessed the Tibetan people being prosecuted in China.

He would then say in an interview with the Times magazine: “You should not talk until you know what you are talking about. That’s why I feel uncomfortable with the interviews. They ask me what kind of policy China should follow about Tibet. Who cares what I think! I’m a fucking actor. I’m a grown-up man trying to entertain you with films. ”

In 1990, Brad played the drug addict Billy Canton in the television movie “Too Young To Die”. He shared the lead role with Juliette Lewis. They fell in love and their relationship lasted for three years. In 1991 he starred in ‘Thelma & Louise’, in ‘Cool World’, in 1992, directed by Ralph Bakshi, followed by ‘A River Runs Through It’ directed by Robert Redford. He also won an Oscar for good cinematography, and with every film he made, he earned another comrade. One time he became a roommate, and together with Buck Simmonds, they agreed so well that they decided to buy a house together.

In 1993, Juliette and his long-time girlfriend were on camera for “California”. In 1994, on the adapted movie of Anne Rice’s novel, “Interview with the Vampire” (A meeting with a Vampire), he performed one of his most exclusive performances by portraying an eighth century vampire. This film was nominated for two Oscars.

Brad played with very important players and important roles. He was saying things we all know about him. In 1994, he went in front of cameras with Anthony Hopkins for the movie called “Legends of Fall”.

1995 was very fruitful for Brad. Starring David Fincher in “Se7en, among his co-stars was also Morgan Freeman. In the same year, in Terry Gilliam’s “Twelve Monkeys,” starring Bruce Wills, received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

In 1996, he starred in the film “Sleepers”. In 1997, his first lead experience in 1988, “The Dark Side of the Sun”, was released. In the same year, he was in front of the camera as a charismatic I.R.A leader in “The Dewil’s Own” film. For this film, he took lessons in speaking with an Irish accent.

In 1998, he was once again on camera for Anthony Meet with Joe Hopkins.

And in 1999, he gave life to one of the unforgettable characters of the screen, cinema’s  “Tyler Durden”. “Fight Club”, adapted from the novel of Chuch Palahniuk, with David Fincher’s signature, was among the cult films, while Brad Pitt was taking firm steps towards engraving his name in the cinema. What else would he do more…

Brad Pitt starred in the 2000’s film “Snatch”, which made him world-renowned. He was awarded “Best Supporting Actor” by the “Stallite Awards” for his role.

In 2001, he starred in “Spy Game” and “The Mexican.” That same year, along with George Clooney and Julia Roberts, with Steven Soderberg directing the first film of the series “Oceans’s Eleven,” he found himself in front of the camera.

In 2002, he starred in “Confessions of a Dangerous Mind”, adapted by Charlie Kaufman from Chuck Barris’ book with the same name.

In 2003, he earned fame even through his voice. He vocalized the voice of Sinbad from the animation “Sinbad: Legends of the Seven Seas”. In 2004, he was a main role in “Troy”, directed by Wolfgang Petersen, and Achilles gained weight by doing sports for months for the sake of the role as a mythological hero.

After this film, he said in an interview: I’m giving myself four more years to make great films. Then a new generation of cinema will come, attracting new heroes. This is how things go. And it’s time to try new things. I want more and more intensively to build a family.

He also says that he wants to be involved in architecture in the future – for the further modernization of Los Angeles, the world-renowned architect Frank Gehry was invited to the group of artists – and added: “I will learn there in the first place; but I will also influence the future of the city. Los Angeles is a soulless concrete desert. I want to make it more lively. This may be my new career. ”

In his mind, his new career shaped him, and the cinema continued. In the same year he was being recorded again for the second season of the series “Ocean’s Twelve”, and in 2005, the film was the first step in everything that would make us believe in love. Also, in “Mr. And Mrs. Smith”, Brad and Angelina Jolie were standing in front of the camera with all their fighting spirit.

He also starred in 2006 in “Babel, and in 2007 in “The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford”. In the same year, he made his third appearance in the series “Ocean’s Thirteen”.

In 2008, he met with the audience in “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button”, where he moved to a different place in his career. Regardless of the length of the film, we all watched Benjamin and Daisy’s love for a long time.

In the following years, of course, he continued to create, not only as an actor, but also as a producer. Unable to embrace Oscar in all his years of acting, Brad Pitt was the producer of “The Departed”, which won an Academy Award for Best Film in 2006, and “12-Year a Slave”, which won the Academy Award for Best movie and Best Adapted Screenplay in 2014. When he received the award, he said: “I never thought I would get an Oscar.”

Brad was first engaged in 1996 with Gwyneth Paltrow. But this engagement lasted a year. It took a long time for Brad to recover from this separation.

In 1998, he met Jennifer Aniston, who starred in the famous series “Friends.” She took his breath away, the result would be great love. On July 29, 2000, they married at a ceremony in Malibu. Their marriage lasted only 5 years. On January 8, 2005, Brad’s press spokesman announced the couple’s decision to leave. The Brad-Jennifer couple said that no gossip about punctuating their marriage had any effect and that they would be two good friends.

After the “Mr. And Mrs. Smith” movie they played, rumours were spread for a love between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Brad’s new relationship began after the termination of his marriage. This time it was a long-lasting love, but there was still plenty of time for them to get married.

Angelina Jolie was in Cambodia during the filming of “Tomb Raider” in 2000, and in 2002 she adopted a boy named Maddox. So they had a kid when the couple started their relationship. Later, they adopted a daughter named Zahara from Ethiopia. On May 27, 2006, their daughter Shiloh Nouvel was born. Their third adopted child was Pax.

Later, Angelina gave birth to her daughter, whom they called Vivienne Marcheline and their son, whom they called Knox Leon. In 2014, the couple had 6 children. The couple married on August 23, 2014, in a special ceremony in France.

They were the “Brangelina” couple. It was accepted as such a great love that it was very difficult to believe that this love, which was experienced before the eyes of the world, was over. I think you all remember. They hadn’t married yet, and Angelina Jolie was sick. In the process, all eyes fell on them, and Brad Pitt shared these sentences that would make everyone jealous, and make them say, “Oh, look at  this love!”:

Love was curing her, healing the wounds, but either everything had a time and it was enough, or there were things that couldn’t be healed.

In 2017, Brad Pitt gave GQ Style a personal interview and told them sincerely how much the divorce issue had upset her.
