Who Is Lady Diana

Princess Diana, the bride of the British Royal Family, was born on the 1st of July in 1961, near the town of Sandringham, England. She was the most admired of the British Royal Family. She belonged to a noble family. Her parents divorced when she was very young, and custody of children was given to the father. Princess Diana received her elementary education at home and later attended Riddlesworth Hall School and West Heath School.

After Edward John Spencer was given the British noble title Earl Spencer in 1975, his daughter Princess Diana also got the name “Lady Diana Spencer”. Princess Diana, a shy character in her youth, was interested in music and dance. She loved children. After completing her education at Institute Alpin Videmanette in Switzerland, she moved to London and worked with children.

Princess Diana was no stranger to the British Royal Family. She grew up with Prince Andrew and Prince Edward as a child because her father rented the Park House which belonged to Queen Elizabeth II. In 1977, Diana met Charles, the older brother of Prince Andrew and Prince Edward.

Because he was the heir to the British Royal Family, the media had a great interest in Prince Charles. The media and public witnessed every moment of Charles and Diana as a couple. An extremely shy person, Princess Diana suddenly found herself as the focus of fashion and popular culture. Prince Charles and Princess Diana walked down the aisle on the 29th of July in 1981. The couple’s wedding was broadcasted all over the world, and millions of people witnessed their vows. Many media organizations called the ceremony the wedding of the century.

And on September 15th in 1984, the couple’s second son, Prince Henry Charles Albert David, was born. Overwhelmed by the responsibilities of the Royal Family, Princess Diana decided to turn her face to her own interests. She began to help children in need of support, individuals with HIV and AIDS and homeless people.

Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s marriage, which looked like a fairy tale from the outside, was not really going well. Both Prince Charles and Princess Diana cheated on each other. Prince Charles’ interest in his current wife Camilla Parker Bowles has been continuing since childhood. Princess Diana became depressed and struggled with bulimia. In December 1992, British Prime Minister of the time, John Major, read the statement from the British Royal Family in the House of Commons announcing the separation of the couple. Prince Charles and Princess Diana formally divorced in 1996.

Even after she was separated from Prince Charles, the fury of Princess Diana in the world did not end. She devoted herself to her children, to charitable work such as raising awareness of the landmine ruins in Angola, which were damaged by the war. Although she started to do charitable work, Princess Diana’s fame captured her at every moment of her life. In 1997, when she started a relationship with Egyptian filmmaker and flirtatious businessman Dodi Fayed, British newspapers began to use crazy headlines.

Travelling to Paris on the 31st of August in 1997, the couple had a traffic accident trying to escape from the paparazzi. Dodi Fayed and the driver of the vehicle died at the scene of the accident. Diana was taken to hospital with serious injuries. Unfortunately, it was announced that she died a few hours later.
